The Princeton Environmental Activism Coalition (PEAC), Princeton University Energy Association (PUEA), Princeton Student Climate Initiative (PSCI), and Natives at Princeton (NAP) are pleased to announce our first Fridays for the Future virtual event. On September 11th from 1-2pm ET, join us for a discussion and workshop centered around environmental organizing and empowering our young people to protect America's climate forest: Tongass National Forest. Tongass National Forest is the oldest and largest remaining temperate rainforest in the world and America's largest single carbon sink. Currently, the Trump Administration is seeking to exempt the Roadless Rule, which has protected nine million of the 16-million-acre forest from logging and development.

The event will be led by young climate and environmental activists from around the country. We are especially pleased to be working with the Sitka Conservation Society and Youth for Sustainable Futures, both based in Alaska.
